Smashing/Crushing Serena/Calem 2!!!

REMEMBER!!! SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE GOING INTO A BIG BATTLE OR TRYING TO CATCH AN ‘ONLY ONE IN GAME’ POKEMON!!! THIS IS SO IF YOU DON’T SUCCEED THE FIRST TIME, YOU CAN TURN YOUR POWER BACK OFF AND ON AND TRY AGAIN!!!

Hey Everyone!

So today when I first arrived in Coumarine City in Pokemon Y, I received a Holo-Clip Message from my rival and next-door neighbour Serena!!! (Calem if you are playing as a girl.) They ask to battle you in front of the Gym! Well then, I guess that means we’ll just have to PWN THEM FOR THE SECOND TIME!!!! They ain’t got nothin’ on us!!! Here is the Full Guide + Walkthrough for this battle so you can DOUBLE PWN THEM!!!

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

My Team (Used):

Floette (Lv 39): Petal Blizzard, Magical Leaf, Fairy Wind, Aromatherapy.

Doublade (Lv 39): Cut, Swords Dance, Night Slash, Shadow Sneak.

Blastoise (Lv 39): Surf, Aqua Tail, Water Pulse, Skull Bash.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Rival’s (Serena/Calem) Team:

REMEMBER: THIS GUIDE IS BASED ON POKEMON Y IF YOU CHOSE CHESPIN AS YOUR STARTER POKEMON!!!

Meowstic (Lv 31) – Psychic Type:

– Light Screen

– Disarming Voice

– ??? (Most probably Psybeam)

– ???

High Speed. What else can I say about this Cat-Like thing Pokemon? Serena/Calem ALWAYS starts off with Light Screen which can be sorta annoying to some people but with the moves Pursuit, Night Slash, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw and Foul Play being Physical Attacks that are super-effective against Meowstic, you can really easily 2HKO it. However if Light Screen is still up when He/She sends out their next Pokemon (Absol), it can cause some problems.

Absol (Lv 31) – Dark Type:

– Slash

– ??? (Probably Quick Attack)

– ??? (Probably Bite)

– ???

With Light Screen up, Fairy Type Moves are cut short against Absol. This Pokemon has High Speed + Attack which can be deadly if it gets a Critical Hit Slash out on you. Fighting Type moves are your best option with Hawlucha being a very capable Pokemon in this certain situation. Then again any Fighting Type will do. lucario is another good option. You can also go for a very Defensive Pokemon such as Snorlax to stall out the turns of Light Screen and then swapping into a Fairy, Bug or Fighting Type to finish off Absol. Practically without Light Screen up, Absol is easy prey.

Braxien (Lv 33) – Fire Type:

WHO KNOWS!!! I didn’t give Braxien a chance to make a move but if I were to guess what moves it would have in it’s arsenal right now, I’d say Fire Spin, Psybeam, and 2 Others I don’t know.

All I can say as well is that it’s a 1HKO with a Mega Blastoise + Aqua Tail. If you can somehow out-speed it with any Pokemon that can take about 2 Fire Spins or Psybeams, you shouldn’t have any problem defeating it. Any Water, Ground or Rock Types (With a million of them being around) will have an easy 2HKO against Braxien if not a 1HKO already!!! WHAT DID THE FOX SAY NOW HUH?!?!?! xD!!!

And that’s basically it!!!

After you beat Serena/Calem, He/She calls you a ‘Very Interesting Trainer’. Well Thanks? I guess?

Oh yeah and then they whine on about how your stronger than them and then He/She gives you the best of luck in your Gym Battle. (Luck? HAH!!! I DON’T NEED LUCK!!! LUCK IS FOR TRAINERS LIKE YOU SERENA/CALEM!!! HAH!!! HAH HAH HAH!!!)

And then He/She leaves. Game Freak, you are so unique. (See what I did there? Freak and Unique rhyme you see!?!? … Sorry, sorry about that everyone…)

Surprise!!! Battle with Leader Korrina!!!

Hey Everyone!!!

So today while I was playing my Pokemon Y Version, when I got to a point of the game in Geosenge Town, Leader Korrina shows up!!! She says that her Lucario (The one that likes you) wants to challenge you to a battle!!! This is a huge surprise and you don’t get time to prepare for the battle, until now!!! This is the full Guide + Walkthrough to leading Korrina down the drain!!! (Sorry, Sorry about that…)

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

My Team (That was used):

Quilladin (Lv 24) – Pin Missile, Vine Whip, Rollout, Bite.

Combusken (Lv 24) – Scratch, Peck, Double Kick, Ember.

Honedge (Lv 25) – Cut, Swords Dance, Aerial Ace, Shadow Sneak.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Korrina’s Team:

Lucario (Lv 25) – Fighting/Steel:  – Metal Sound

– Power-Up Punch

– Feint

– ???

Not too hard of a battle. Combusken can take it out with 2 – 3 Ember’s or Double Kick’s. Power-Up Punch is a new move introduced into Gen VI. It is a 40 Base Power Fighting Type Physical Attack Move. It also raises the user’s Attack by One Stage after being used. Don’t worry though as it is not a threat on this moveset. Metal Sound being such a gimmicky move with 85% Accuracy just doesn’t make sense on this moveset unless there is a Special Attack hiding in Lucario 1’s arsenal. Honedge can easily take it out with one Sword’s Dance + 2 Shadow Sneaks and any Ground Type Pokemon (Sandile however is a risk since of it’s secondary Dark Type) can take it out pretty easily. On top of all this, a Fairy or Psychic Pokemon shouldn’t have trouble taking out this Lucario either.

Lucario (Lv 25) – Fighting/Steel:  – Metal Sound

– Swords Dance

– ???

– ???

Considering these Lucario are both the same Level, I suspect Number 1’s Hidden Move is Swords Dance and Number 2’s Hidden Moves are Power-Up Punch and Feint. Still Metal Sound is a waste of space their but whatever. This Lucario goes for a Metal Sound, Swords Dance X2 combination most times which is really stupid considering lowering the target’s Special Defence and powering up your Attack isn’t going to give you the 4X Bonus but hey, it’s not my Pokemon so I don’t care. The exact same thing for beating Lucario 1 goes for beating Lucario 2. Yep. The EXACT SAME THING!!! So nothing else really needs to be said here.

Then she says “Oh so that’s why my Lucario likes you!” asks you to visit her Gym in Shalour City to say ‘Hi’ (Really, Hi. I’d rather earn a badge but o…. oh the battle is a hi…)

Then she leaves on her Roller Skates. That’s a real good ending to a surprising battle. Good Work Game Freak. Good Work.

It’s still not worse that the Infestatin TM though.

I don’t think ANYTHING could get worse then that.

Did I ever tell you how much I HATE INFESTATION!!!

I don’t think I am going to get over that any time soon.

Do you think I’ll get over Infestation any time soon? Make sure to let me know in the comments below!!!

Oh yeah and if you had any problems or questions about this battle you can let my know in the comments below as well.

(P.S. I Lied.)

I HATE INFESTATION SO MUCH!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Really Possible Pokemon X and Y Leaks!!! – Updated Info!

Hey Everyone!

So I was searching around the internet today about Random Pokemon X and Y stuff and while I was searching I found some of these awesome, could be, leaks! I’m sure you all would be interested in this stuff, so here they are!!!

POSSIBLE POKEMON X AND Y LEAKS!:

– New Move: Venom Drench – Pretty much spits a pile of venom on a poisoned Pokemon and lowers Speed and Sp. Atk

– Almost all reviews were 9/10 or 4.5/5 – TRUE!!!

– Serena/Callum falls in love with you at some point in the story

– Korrina gives you her Lucario that warms up to you – TRUE!!!

– You can ride Furfrou in Lumiose

– Routes each have their own names – TRUE!!!

– Nitx, Bug/Dark Bat Discovered

– Mega Gardevoir accidentally popped up in a review, no pics of it. – TRUE!!!

– Crafty Shield is a new move learned by Klefki that is like a Protect for non-damaging moves like Attract

– Ground/Fairy Pokemon dropped by Kotaku

– Instead of dust clouds in caves and rustling grass, there are new signals that replace them. Falling dust in caves and bushes on routes are the replacements. – TRUE!!!

– Yveltal is catchable during the main game unlike Kyurem – TRUE

– Sableye possibly has an evolution

– Grass Field and Fog Field are two new weather-like moves

– Make-up can be used in customisation

– Some cafes/restaurants do special types of battles, like having to beat an opponent in X turns.

So really I’ll be trying to see if these leaks are true or false throughout the game. I’ll also add some other leaks here if I find any other interesting ones.

Have any other leaks to share? Post them in the comments below?

What do you think of these leaks? I personally think the one where Serena/Callum falls in love with you would be pretty cool!! Make sure to leave me your thoughts in the comments below!

Catching/Battling Snorlax

So today in my Pokemon Y Version I came up to a point where I had to wake up a Snorlax blocking the path with a Poke Flute. (So Original!) Anyways don’t ask me how that Snorlax hadn’t of broken the Wooden Bridge already while sleeping on it (Since Snorlax is heavy, and fat.) but once you get the Poke Flute from Parfum Palace (and spend 5 or whatever minutes with the annoying Shauna in my opinion.) go back to the bridge in Route 7 to wake up and battle Snorlax.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

NEW POKEMON:

The New Pokemon Honedge (Steel/Ghost) and Espurr (Psychic) can be found on the outsides of Route 6. These areas can be accessed from the outside paths of the Frontyard of Parfum Palace.

HM ALERT:

Although it sucks, HM01 Cut can be found in the middle of the Backyard of Parfum Palace. It’s still not worse than Infestation though. Stupid Infestation.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

My Team:

Honedge (Lv 15): Tackle, Swords Dance, Pursuit, Metal Sound.

Wartortle (Lv 18): Tackle, Bubble, Water Gun, Bite.

Quilladin (Lv 23): Pin Missile, Bite, Vine Whip, Rollout.

Combusken (Lv 24): Scratch, Peck, Double Kick, Ember.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Snorlax (Lv 15) – Normal:

– Tackle

– Defense Curl

– Amnesia

– Lick

As if this sleeping bear or whatever didn’t already have enough high defences. Also with High HP, this Snorlax is one tough Pokemon, even at only Lv 15. With strong Defences starting off, it has Defense Curl and Amnesia to keep on stockpiling them even higher. It is also holding Sitrus Berry to restore it’s HP a little when in the ‘Yellow Zone’ of it’s HP Bar. Let’s just say that without good planning, this could be a VERY LONG battle. Catching this Defensive Madman is even harder. It’s recommended that you should try to get Snorlax’s HP to around 1 – 5 HP before trying to catch it as at this HP with no status alignments on it, it is a 1/3 chance you will succeed in catching it with an ordinary Poke Ball. False Swipe is a good option as you get this TM before having to come across Snorlax.

It isn’t really possible to predict what moves Snorlax will use as it is a Wild Pokemon but the best option (and it is advised) is to try and end this battle quickly before Snorlax tries stockpiling itself with a number of Defense Curls + Amnesia’s. Combusken’s Double Kick can take care of Snorlax in a couple shots even with a Defense Curl up. Early Soild STAB Moves such as Vine Whip and Ember can also inflict satisfying damage onto Snorlax. Honedge’s Sword’s Dance + Pursuit/Tackle can also put pressure onto Snorlax. Watch out for Snorlax’s Lick though as it is Super Effective against Honedge and can wipe Honedge out in 2 – 4 Shots. Honedge’s Metal Sound is also very good at stoping Amnesia’s from going up and can successfully lower Snorlax’s Special Defence’s allowing someone like Wartortle to come in and inflict damage onto Snorlax with a STAB Water Gun. As Honedge however is seriously prone to Lick, it will be hard getting both Metal Sound + Swords Dance/Attack Move both up though. Metal Sound’s gets 100% Accuracy with Honedge’s No Guard Ability which can be a big bonus in this battle. Watch out for Lick’s bonus Paralysis effect as well as it can take a toll on your team.

It is advised to go into this battle with a High Special Attack + Speed Pokemon to try and stop Snorlax from piling up it’s defences if you don’t have Honedge with you. Espurr is a good choice. Even Flabebe can be a good choice with Fairy Wind.

That’s practically it. The main thing is to stop Snorlax from piling it’s Defences. So as that say, “A quick game’s a good game!”

Did you have any problems or questions about this battle? If so, make sure to tell me in the comments below!!!
